Image Media Block

- Secure Video Ingest
- FPGA-Based Processing
- FIPS 140-2 Compliance
- Embedded Linux System
Overview
A client in the video design industry chose Nuvation Engineering to design an image media block for a digital cinema projector. Nuvation Engineering developed the hardware to ingest, decode, watermark and play cinema video, all within a high-security boundary. The design uses FPGA-based video and audio processing, including JPEG2000 decoding, video watermarking, and 3D color enhancement.
