| The SATA Host Controller IP Core for Xilinx Devices is currently in development featuring an AHCI firmware interface. The first release version is targeted for Virtex-5 LXT/SXT with on-chip PHY. The core will have a PLB interface to other logic and/or embedded MCU. Spartan-based versions with off-chip PHY may also be made available.
