Algorithm Acceleration
Faster, Smaller, Low Power, Cheaper

Next generation products require complex algorithms with faster responsiveness, lower parts costs, smaller form factor, less power, and higher resolution.  Feature rich, flexible and lightning fast algorithms are required for product differentiation, competitive advantages and commercial success.

Industries that use compute-intensive applications such as digital video rendering, pattern recognition, or genomic research, depend on algorithm accuracy and performance, racing to reach market first, and shrinking product life cycles.  Get on board as we introduce the concept of “Algorithm Acceleration” from a Nuvation perspective.

Welcome to the Summer edition of Nuvation’s CURRENT.  This year has been flying by and it’s hard to believe we’re in Q3 of 2006 already.  We have a record number of electronic design projects underway and have been adding more incredibly talented engineers in both our Waterloo and San Jose design centers.    CONTINUE

Hike For A Cure 2006
Half Dome, Yosemite !

H4AC 2006 will be on Sunday September 24, 2006. This will be the 6th annual hike to the top of Half Dome in Yosemite, CA to raise money for research for Langerhans Cells Histiocyotsis (LCH). LCH is a rare immune system disease that Michael Worry's nephew, Anton, had as an infant. After many months of chemotherapy treatment the disease went into remission. Today Anton's friends, family and other families affected by the disease hike each year to raise money to fund research into a cure.

Last year enough money was raised to fund two important research projects. This year we hope to fund two more and start a new program at Stanford's children's hospital as well. The hike is a great physical challenge and a wonderful community. If you would like to join us you can register online at www.hikeforacure.com.
