Job Summary:

The Web Developer will be part of the Marketing department. Working directly with the Director of Marketing, and occassionally with the VP of Sales & Marketing and the Sales team, the web developer will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining Nuvation's external website and online visibility. This is a part time, contract position for approximately 10 – 20 hours per week.  On occasion, services will be required outside of regular business hours to address any emergencies, perform scheduled maintenance, or work on web projects.

Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Director of Marketing (offsite) and with the support of the IT Team in Waterloo, the Web Developer is required to perform the following:

• Maintain the external website
  • Check for dead links
  • Keep news fresh
  • Keep site secure
  • Maintain shopping cart
  • Manage website back ups
  • Tend to hosting or domain issues
• Make regular updates to web page content
• Create new pages and implement new features
• Optimize Google Adwords campaign, increase traffic to website
• Generate web traffic reports
• SEO, meta tag optimization
• Enhance and update backend structure of site
• Generate web newsletters, place content in template

• HTML
• PHP / CGI / Scripting
• Dreamweaver / Other website dev tools
• Basic photoshop skills
• Basic graphic design skills are a plus
• Extremely web savvy
• Excellent communication skills
